Q: What are Cinnas? How are they used? A: Cinnas are creatures based on food. There are multiple species and optional lore to build your characters upon. Individual designs are bought or created by customers to use as non-commercial characters, typically for artistic purposes. Q: What is a "MYO"? A: "Make Your Own". These slots allow you to design your own Cinna. You can purchase them from the shop, or obtain them through gifts and trading. Q: Can I make a Cinna? A: Not without purchasing a MYO slot or coming into ownership of an official design through sales, gifts, trades, or our free prompts available via our Discord! Cinnas are a closed species belonging to Feveretro. Q: How much is a Cinna? A: Prices vary, if you’re interested in a MYO, see our shop. If you’re interested in a custom design, contact one of our Official Artists. Q: What can a Cinna be based on? A: Cinnas are based on food and drink. Common flavors include sweet things like drinks, cakes, and candies. Restricted flavors are not currently available for all MYOs. See Flavors. Q: Can I resell/trade/gift my Cinna? A: Of course. You may resell/trade/gift a Cinna after owning them for two full weeks. It is recommended that you resell them for the buying price of a MYO, however that number may change if they were initially acquired via adopt, or if additional commissioned art was purchased. The value is ultimately up to the owner. Q: Are there rules I have to follow for owning a Cinna? A: Yes. Please read the TOS before purchasing. These terms will be linked on every sale item and in each invoice from Feveretro. Guest Artists' personal design rules are overridden upon acceptance of application. Q: Can I use rare or restricted traits for my MYO? A: You may use rare traits for your MYO with corresponding rarity runes purchased from the shop. You may not use restricted traits or flavors when making your own Cinna, these can only be commissioned by official artists. Q: Do I need a MYO slot or rarity runes to purchase a custom from a non-official artist? A: You do not need a MYO slot or rarity runes when buying a custom from an official registered artist, but you will if commissioning someone else for a design. Q: Can I use flavors from a videogame, show, movie, or combine two food items for one theme? A: As long as no IP is being infringed upon, you may base a Cinna off of an in-universe food. You may combine two flavors as long as they are within the same rarity, or unless otherwise stated. Q: Can I hue shift my Cinna? A: Upgrading your Cinna to another species requires a new MYO slot, but it is often cheaper to purchase multiple different species MYOs. |
Q: Can I sell and trade my Cinnapets freely?
A: Cinnapets do not need to be attached to another design, they may be sold and traded freely. They have their own MYO slots in the shop and masterlist. Q: How do I update The Masterlist with my ownership details / fix an error? A: Join the Cinnadiscord and hop in the #-masterlist-updates channel. The Masterlist is updated almost daily. Please provide proof of your transaction if needed [pinging another user for confirmation is an acceptable form of proof]. Q: I want to redesign my Cinna! How do I start? A: You may make small edits to your design any time without approval. Do not draw over other peoples' artwork without permission. Any drastic changes or trait changes will need to be approved in the Cinnadiscord channel myo-redesign-approval. Q: How many Cinnas am I allowed to own? A: There is no limit. Q: Can my Cinna be based on a pre-existing character? A: Cinnas may not be exact copies of another Intellectual Property or its copyrighted characters. Designs may take inspiration from these sources and may be referenced for a wholly unique character. This is a grey area that is subject to approval by admins, and must abide by fair use by being transformative enough Please see Approvals for more details. Q: Can I have a Cinna with the same theme as someone else? A: Yes. Every Cinna is unique in design, so even if two Cinnas are based on the same food, the chances are that they will look very different. Do not intentionally design your Cinna to resemble someone else's’ design. Q: Can Munchkins and Teacups stand upright? A: Due to the limits of their anatomy, no, but you may depict them as anthro in non-masterlist entry artwork. All other species can stand upright or on all fours. Q: Can I commission a [Cinnaspecies] ? I don’t see it in the shop. A: Not all species are available as MYOs at any time. Keep an eye out! Q: How do I get a Diamond Tail? A: Diamond Tails are regarded as special gifts given out at feveretro’s discretion. Please do not ask for one, as they cannot be purchased. They are given to those who exhibit exceptional behavior in the community, or as a personal gesture on Fever's behalf. Q: Can I breed two Cinnas? Does species matter? A: Yes. Two consenting parties, or your own two designs, may have a child as long as there is a MYO slot for it. The child may or may not have inherited traits or flavors from the parents. All Cinnaspecies can breed together, as the resulting child is simply one or the other. Q: Can my design have forms as the other Cinna species? A: With a corresponding MYO Slot your Cinna may alternate between each via natural shapeshifting ability. If your Cinna is Cursed or Forbidden, it may need to complete a special ritual prompt.
