RARE TRAITS

Spicing Things Up

There's many a rare trait - besides rare tails of course - that are available for Cinnas to diversify themselves.

Furhood

A staple of the Cinna, the Furhood is a large roll of fat and fur around the neck, which can optionally be pulled over the head and ears for warmth or display.

Furponcho

The Furponcho drapes majestically over the shoulders of a Cinna and may resemble a cape, and is attached to the collar.

Wings

Uncommon amongst these large creatures are wings, and less often so are wings capable of carrying said Cinna without the aid of magic.

Horns

Horns apply to the head of a Cinna, and can look like anything. Spikes on the body are not rare, but large back plates are [see Unusual Body].

Double Head

Having up to one extra head, this trait may be combined with the Restricted Chimera Trait to have two different Wild faces.

Wild

The Wild trait changes a Cinna's face to anything other than a cat or dog.
Some Wild faces are exclusive to Cinnacats [Panthera], and Cinnadogs [Wolf, Borzoi, Pomua].
Wild faces cannot fuse together. Two or more Wild faces may be used with a Double Head trait and a Chimera Restricted Trait.
See all Wild faces below.

Unusual Body

Unusual Bodies can be described as anything other than flesh and fur on a Cinna. They each cost a trait individually despite being under one category. Some UBs may function similar to others, this is okay.

Please scroll for a full list of all current Unusual Body types.

Alt Palette

A Cinna can have different palettes for any reason [seasonal, magic, etc]. However, there are two different kinds. One alternate palette does not count as a rare trait, while the other does. An alternate palette becomes rare when more than one design aspect is heavily altered.
Please scroll down to see a guide on Common & Rare Alt Palettes.

Wereform

A Wereform is categorized by a transformation into a another version of said Cinna. Its traits may change or remain hidden as long as they are listed on the Masterlist, and their tail cannot change without a Chrysalis Cookie.
The Cinna must visually resemble its non-were counterpart to an extent.

Alternate Palettes

Can I hue shift my Cinna?
A: Yes, but you must ask permission PRIOR to editing another artists’ work.
Common Alt Palettes:
- Swapping colors on the existing palette
- Minor shifts of saturation and contrast only.
- Keep all markings the same
- May change accessories [may NOT change major design elements]
Rare Alt Palettes [require a rare trait]:
- Change skin [pads, mouth, nose, etc.] and eye color
- Alter the markings or major design elements such as plants and food
- May have shifted hue.

If you plan on completely overhauling these traits to make the Cinna unrecognizable, you may want to check out the Redesign Ticket in our shop!

To permanently shift the colors of your Cinna, it would be considered a small change and subject to approval by admins. To add unlimited rare alt palettes, consider applying a Chameleoid Potion to your Cinna.
